Jenni Cardoso
Fashion & tailoring boutique
Jenni Cardoso is a conceptual branding project for a fashion design and tailoring boutique,
focused on craftsmanship, femininity, and emotional connection to clothing. The project explores
how visual identity can reflect care, individuality, and timeless elegance.
Overview
Background
Jenni Cardoso was created as a concept for a boutique specializing in custom fashion and tailoring. The brand is imagined for clients who value craftsmanship, personal attention, and garments made with intention rather than fast fashion trends.
Focus
The focus of the project was to create an identity that feels elegant, feminine, and emotionallymeaningful. The brand needed to communicate both refinement and handmade quality, highlighting the relationship between clothing and the person who wears it.
Design Approach
Core Idea
The core idea behind Jenni Cardoso is that every garment carries a personal story. Clothing is treated not just as an object, but as an expression of care, time, and individuality - something created with emotion as much as skill.
Visual Choices
The logo features a heart-shaped thread intertwined with a needle, symbolizing love, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. This subtle imagery communicates tailoring in a gentle, emotional way rather than a technical or industrial one.
Color & Type
Soft, elegant tones were chosen to support a timeless and feminine feel. Script typography adds warmth and sophistication, while clean supporting type ensures clarity and balance across applications.
Outcome
Process
The process began with sketch exploration, combining symbols of sewing, thread, and emotion. Selected concepts were refined digitally, focusing on balance between elegance and legibility, and later tested through packaging and storefront mockups.
Final look
The final identity is refined, intimate, and cohesive. It translates naturally across packaging, signage, and boutique applications, creating a brand presence that feels personal and crafted rather than commercial.
What It shows
This project demonstrates my ability to create emotionally driven brand identities that combine storytelling, craftsmanship, and visual elegance into a clear and cohesive system.
Final notes
Designing Jenni Cardoso was about translating emotion into form. Every visual decision was made to reflect care, femininity, and the quiet beauty of handmade fashion. I believe that design, like clothing, should be felt - not just seen. Each detail was shaped with the same care and attention that goes into every handmade stitch.
